The sanatorium „Marconi” is the main cultural-educational centre, created not only by the local intelligentsia and doctors but also by scientists artist who are visitors to this health resort. 
 

A wide variety of cultural events offered by Marketing, Promotion and Service Department is for visitors to our resort and for all other recipents a great attraction. The offer of cultural-educational events includes activities connected with theatre, music, literature, art, education, tourism, sightseeing, sport and enertainment.

Among the shows that can be seen in the concert hall of the sanatorium „Marconi” are „Ten drogi Lwów”, „Jarosy, zawsze ten sam”, „Hemar mniej znany” performed by actors of Drama Theatre in Warsaw.

Very popular are gatherings at which a writer reads extracts of his works. There has been annual meetings with the Master of Polish Language Barbara Wachowicz who has promoted her new books for 15 years. She has received a  Statuette of Busko-Zdrój Lover Society (Towarzystwo Miłośników Buska-Zdroju) and a medal “A resort Busko- Zdrój” (Uzdrowisko Busko-Zdrój" S.A.) for her literary and artistic output and promotion of our resort in and outside Poland.
In all courses there are organised meetings with Zbigniew Święch – a journalist and essayist, author of the series of books „Klątwy, mikroby i uczeni”, „Czakram Wawelski” and others. Equally popular are meetings with music with the writers of Świętokrzyski region: Stanisław Nyczaj, Leszek Marciniec, Henryk Obcowski, Stanisława Juszkiewicz.

There is a wide range of concerts in the concert hall – from classical, modern, folk, entertaining music to singing poetry and satirical works.

We have in our programme of cultural-educational Sanatorium  „Marconi” regular concerts of Drawing-Room Zdrój Orchestra. Small audience concerts are very popular among visitors to the resort.

The concert repertoire: famous operetta, tango and waltz.   Drawing-Room Zdrój Orchestra which is on a very high artistic level has played continuously for 55 years, giving the visitors unforgettable emotional experiences.

Regular cultural events in program are:

1. Krystyna Jamroz International Music Festiwal,  where famous artists from our country and from abroad perform (June-July);

2.Summer with Chopin (July) - music festival sponsored by prof. Barbara Hesse-Bukowska with participation of pianists from Japan, Thailand, Canada, Germany, Australia and Poland.

      Cultural organisers of „Marconi” sanatorium try  to create the programme so that all vistors can choose something interesting for themselves.
