Resort hospital „Krystyna”-320 places

It constitutes a modern resort of complex rehabilitation. There are 4 departments: rheumatological, neurological, movement organs rehabilitation and cardiology. Cardiological rehabilitation ward has 100 beds – double rooms with higher standard with all sanitary fittings. 

 

 

 

There is an additional four-beds unit of Intensive Cardiological Supervision – room with air conditioning, with round-the-clock health care.

Apart from it there are following laboratories:


- effort test ward
- a holter ward: 24 hours ECG examination and round-the-clock blood pressure monitoring
- echocardiography ward
 - psychology ward
- room for cardiological ward


The ward deals with treatment and rehabilitation of patients after cardiochirurgical operations with extrasomatic circulation 5-7 days, patients after angioplastic surgery, who already have had a heart attack, with coronary disease, hypertension and other illnesses of  circulatory system.




Since 01.01.2004 we also have ambulatory Cardiochirurgical Rehabilitation. Cardiochirurgy Department meets all the requirements needed for noninvasive cardiologic diagnostic, co-operating with  Świętokrzyskie Centrum Kardiologii, Klinika Chirurgii Serca i Naczyń of the Specialist Hospital named after John Paul II in Kraków being its branch and other Regional Hospitals. 

 

 

There is a physiotherapeutic ward in the resort „Krystyna” offering  over 30 types of treatment, rehabilitaion swimming-pool and the newest treatment in the region – criosauna of the entire system. There is also a modern musictherapy and relaxation studio. The building constitutes a library and a cafe as well.
